Wendle Marble Fireplace

"Super product manufactured to a very high quality. Fitting instructions caused a little consternation when fitting the back plate to the legs. The resultant gap between the back of the back plate and the wall seemed to be anomalous. This was explained when I telephoned but a little more detail in the fitting instructions would have helped - perhaps a diagram of the top view would have been useful. Final fitting looks realy good and we now await an accredited gas fitter to instal the fire and test the air flow. Many thanks for your help."

I ordered the fire surround on Wednesday and it was delivered the following Monday; the driver 'phoned me half an hour before arriving so I knew when to expect him. "I had been looking online for months to buy a marble fireplace but everywhere I looked proved to be expensive. i finally found one on a website but when I called it was MDF coated in a marble finish, not what I wanted. It was pure LUCK that I came across this website. I couldn't beleive my eyes at the cost and range available. SO the next morning I phoned Mick and asked him 101 questions! He was VERY patient, answered all my qus thoroughy and waited for me to make a choice. When i phoned him to place my order he told me they could deliver my fireplace the NEXT day! I was sooooo excited. The electic fire I wanted wasn't available but he immediately told me one's he had in stock and the one he reccommended was CHEAPER than the one I wanted. This shows how he is not out to rip anyone off, he genuinely wants to get the best deal for his customer. The cherry on the cake was when I couldn't decide on colours so he told me he would put BOTH colours on the van and I could decide at the time of delivery whic one I was keeping. AMAZING!!! The next day both colours were deleivered as promised. The driver was friendly and helpful, I decided on the colour I wanted, he put the other one back on the van and left me as a very happy customer. My partner fitted it using Mick's precise instrucitons, both verbal and the leaflet he provided. I phonced a few hours later to pay for it, Mick didn't even ring to chase paymet; he trusts his customers. I wasn't sure aobut all this when I placed the order as it appeared to be too good to be truse but it really IS true. Well done Mick on your excellent service. You really do know your stuff aobut fireplaces and truly deserve this wonderful reveiw."

"We recently purchased a Wendell fire surround from Mick for our new house. I had bought one previously from the internet and was very disappointed with the quality. I was fortunate to be able to return it. I came across Mick's website and started reading the reviews. Initially I thought too good to be true but I picked up the phone and Mick himself answered. Had a good chat and he convinced me that we would not be disappointed in his product. He did not ask for payment because he is that confident in his product. The surround turned up within the agreed time frame and the guy delivering it was so careful with it. Installation was straightforward and I can't be happier with the finished fire place.
